Lions District 21B Treasurer Patty Lacy

Lion Patty is almost an Arizona native - her family moved from Muskagee, Oklahoma, to Tucson when she was just 6 years old.

She attended NAU and spent 16 years with Valley National Bank before going into the mortgage business. Today she owns her own mortgage brokerage (she named it NEMOW Mortgage - that is women spelled backward!).

Along the way Patty married her high school sweetheart and they have one daughter and a granddaughter Kaylee, who is obviously the center of grandma’s universe.

Patty came to the Tucson Downtown Lions Club in 2001 when she was asked to help out at Rodeo. She has served as the club’s treasuer for 7 years.

Lion Patty served as District Cabinet Treasurer in 2006/2007 and was District Leader Dog Chairperson in 2007/2008 - she says that is her favorite job. She also sits on the Board of Directors for SAAVI (Southern Arizona Association for the Visually Impaired) and the Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers.

And she does it all well - Lion Patty is a Melvin Jones Fellow and has received two President’s Appreciation Awards.
